Description
Antique English Hallmark Sterling Silver Over Sized Tea Set.This Tea Set is a married set, each piece is from the Georgian Era but they are all made by different makers.
This antique sterling tea set has a great deep relief design.
The Teapot is approximately 12" Long from spout to handle by 6" Wide by 5 3/8" Tall from the bottom of the foot to the top of the knob on the lid.
The Teapot weighs approximately 849.9 /grams.
The Creamer is approximately 5 5/8" Tall by 4 1/8" Long by 3 1/2" Wide, and weighs 200.4 /grams.
The Sugar is approximately 8" Long by 4 1/2" Tall by 4 1/8" Wide, and weighs 289.2 /grams.
Total weight of set is 43.07 t-oz
Each Piece of this Tea set has English Hallmarks on the side.
Each has the standard Lion mark for .925 Sterling.
Each has the London Mark crowned leopards head from 1478-1822.
They each have a different letter date mark. The teapot is from 1814/1815, the sugar bowl is from 1808/09, and the creamer is from 1813/1814.
Each also has the King George III Duty mark.
Each one has a different makers mark. The tea pot has Rebecda Emes & Edward Barnad I makers initials. I am unable to Identify the makers of the cream or sugar bowl.
This is an Antique Silver Tea set from early 19th Century, it will be sold AS IS. There is no major damage, or dents.
It has some light surface scratches and will need to be polished up a bit.
I would only recommend polishing up the high areas, it has a really great dark patina all over.
