    Description

Up for auction is a 1944 Christmas greeting card, from a US soldier in France to his mother in the states. This was sent during December of 1944, when some of France had been liberated by the Allies. It included some paper money (refer to photos) and a note on the back of the card. Refer to photos for condition. The card is in good condition. The envelope is a bit worn and is in two pieces (front and back). The currency also has some wear and the larger notes were folded in the envelope. For historical reference, the soldier, Lt. John M. McCabe was my great uncle and his mother was my great-grandmother (he was my maternal grandmother's brother). Buyer is to pay cost of first class shipping in a small box, with tracking. Package will be shipped within 1 business day of a completed payment. This item has been stored in a clean, climate controlled
