Description
This beautiful violin is a copy of the ‘Soil’ Stradivari of 1714 which is currently played by Itzak Perlman. Scott Cao's workshop in California completes only two of the 1500 level violins each month and the waiting list is long!The Scott Cao 1500 series (STV1500) violins feature an exact copy varnish along with the highest quality Bosnian maple and Italian spruce woods aged 20+ years. The fingerboards are made of Indian ebony and have boxwood fittings. This beautiful violin was built, varnished, and set up in the Campbell, California studio.
This violin is superbly crafted with acute attention to every detail. I feel this violin was made to last a lifetime and it’s tone is definitely suitable for the advanced to the professional violinist. The tone is top notch! It is even, clear, rich, powerful and has so many colors! This is because it was made of only the finest tone woods and made by a Master Luthier. It will meet the demanding needs of the advanced to professional musician.
This master violin has a label signed by its maker and there is another label with a serial number.
