Chinese Export Armorial Syllabub Cup
This wonderful little piece features a crest initialed with a "D" under ermine mantling. Twisted handle with leaf attachments to body.  The pot de Creme or Syllabub cup was made specifically for a drink similar to eggnog popular in Colonial times.  Other pieces to this "D" Service are also listed.  Made for the American market late 18th to early 19th Century, would guess c. 1800. Cup Approx.
2"H X 3"W.
Provenance: An extensive private collection.
Condition:
Missing lid, probable professional restoration (only visible upon very close inspection) , minor imperfections to be expected.
