    Superbly hand embroidered Hungarian pillow case from Western Transylvania / Kalotaszeg region. It is the most famous Hungarian hand embroidery from this region, the so called " written " embroidery, IRASOS.
    Age: 50 - 60 years old
    The pillow case is hand embroidered with red cotton thread on hemp/flax linen (similar with a very dense sack).
    Sizes: 60 x 44 cm or 23. 6 x 17. 32 inches.
    Very good condition, with minor traces of the wear, a tinny stain in one of backs corner.
