Large 1936 Reed & Barton Sterling Silver Water Pitcher w/ Repousse Top & Bottom

Up for sale is a stunning sterling silver water pitcher from famed American silversmiths Reed & Barton. This piece dates back to 1936(reed & barton date symbol). It is wonderfully embellished with a bead and leaf motif on the upper and lower rim of the pitcher. It is engraved/personalized on the underside and dated 1937(when the piece was given). The pitcher measures 9.5 inches high x 9.1 inches wide. It weighs a whopping 731 grams of solid sterling silver! Please see the pictures for details of condition. Dented edge noted on the lower base and pinhole sized dents are throughout the body(noticeable when you look inside). Also a 1-inch line dent under the handle.
