This is a four strand poe'poe style museum grade lei/necklace made of the rarest kahelelani shells, the reds.
I have picked these shells over the last 14 years and have developped this technique of stringing the shells into a claspless lei myself.
I first saw the claspless design in a dream, This is the first red lei I make like this and it will definitely be the only one.
There is about 2500 shells on there.
The price reflects the amount of time that went into picking these shells. They are all perfect. 14 years was a long time :)
