My blouses are top quality completely hand-sewn and hand embroidered on the finest gauze cotton with cotton and/or silk thread, they are pure art. The blouses are decorated with rich traditional motives which can be traced hundreds of year back in history. Some of the motives have names like “The Destiny Wheel”, “The Chamomile”, “

”, " The Stars " ," The Flowers in Lace " , " The Eagle  "  and it takes a embroiderer over one month of work to finish one garment, so intricate and fine is the pattern. There is no sewing machine involved, everything is hand done.

Description
Antique, 60 - 80 years old Romanian traditional tablecloth with lace work from Transylvania, Maramures county. It is hand stitched on homespun cotton fabric with blue cotton thread.
It is made of two panels of fabric connected together with a crochet lace because the homespun fabric is produced on a loom which is narrow.
Size: 1, 85 meters long x 1, 27 meters wide measured without the lace which border the tablecloth. The lace is 17 cm wide.
72. 83 inches long x 50 inches wide measured without the lace which border the tablecloth. The lace is 6. 7 inches wide.
The weaving is amazing, strong, beautiful with an wonderful geometrical pattern in its texture. The technique used to produce these textiles with motifs which stand out in reliefs is one of the oldest and complex weaving technique called weaving over the threads. The weaving is hand made weaving 3 threads (3 ite).
Condition: good condition with minor traces of the wear. No tear, no repair, no noticeable stain.
