There are hardly any scratches, scuffs and scrapes to the varnish as the violin is pristine. The violin has GOOD NEW STRINGS on it, a . value! As the violin is new, the more you play it, the better the sound will get. The wood is tight fine grain spruce on the table and really lovely flamed maple on the ribs, back, neck.
