Vintage Norwegian Rosemaling Wood Tankard Signed "NITA" Hand Painted Telemark

A wonderful and unique wood tankard featuring a hand painted rosemaling design in the Norwegian Telemark style
Signed "Nita" by the artist (see photos)
The vessel is made with wood pieces such as a barrel is made, and has brown reed-like straps at the base and near center
holding the handle onto the tankard. Very well done!
***The colors are typical in many Norwegian rosemaling pieces, with
the artistry being well above average
The piece stands approx. 6-1/4" tall, about 4-1/8" in diameter at the base, 3-1/4" in diameter at the lid.  Including the handle, it is about 6" in width overall.  The scrolled floral design is on the front, sides, and top of the lid as seen in the photos
No damage found, only slight signs of ownership and age when looking closely
This will make a superb addition to any rosemaling collection!
